Twelve Bucks and Delicious

This farming family in Washington sells grapes to a lot of better known (and expensive) labels. What they bottle under their own label, however, is no less compelling than their customers' wines - but at a third of the price.

2009 Milbrandt Vineyards Cabernet "Traditions" Columbia Valley $12
This Cab has it all going on- lush (but not over ripe) fruit, good backbone, and a long, luxurious finish. To boot, restrained oak lends structure and a touch of class. Very appealing and a hell of a deal. Much like their irresistible Merlot. Enjoy.
